Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GOLXI handles personal information when you use its websites, accounts, communities and competition tools. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact golxi.com@gmail.com.

Community organizers separately decide how they use information they collect outside GOLXI, such as external chats or payment arrangements. Their practices are not controlled by this Policy.

References to eFootball and EA SPORTS FC identify community competition categories only. GOLXI is not affiliated with Konami Digital Entertainment, Electronic Arts, EA SPORTS or their affiliates, and those companies do not control GOLXI's privacy practices.

The information collected depends on the features you use.

• Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, confirmation state, security events and session information.
• Profile information: username, display name, avatar, country, timezone, language, gaming platform, in-game display name, optional stream links and contact preferences.
• Community and competition information: memberships, applications, roles, rules, registrations, schedules, announcements, standings, awards, moderation actions and organizer notes.
• Match information: availability, check-ins, scores, result confirmations, stream or replay links, dispute messages and uploaded evidence.
• Technical information: IP address and basic request, device, browser, security and diagnostic information generated by GOLXI and its infrastructure providers.
• Support communications: messages and attachments you send when requesting help, exercising privacy rights or reporting abuse.

Public profiles and competition pages may display usernames, display names, avatars, countries, platforms, reliability indicators, memberships, fixtures, scores, standings, awards and public streams. Do not place sensitive personal information in public fields.

Email addresses, authentication data, private contact preferences, private moderator notes and private match evidence are not intended for public display. Private evidence is restricted to authorized participants and moderators using access controls and short-lived links.

We use information to:

• create and secure accounts, authenticate users and provide recovery and verification messages;
• operate profiles, communities, competitions, fixtures, standings, notifications, moderation and dispute workflows;
• apply permissions, prevent duplicate or deceptive activity, investigate abuse and protect users and infrastructure;
• respond to support requests, legal requests and privacy requests;
• maintain, troubleshoot and improve accessibility, reliability, performance and user experience; and
• comply with law and enforce the Terms of Service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, GOLXI processes information as necessary to provide the service you request and perform its agreement with you; for legitimate interests such as security, moderation, service improvement and preventing abuse; to comply with legal obligations; and with consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent for future processing, but this does not affect processing already performed or processing supported by another lawful basis.

GOLXI does not sell personal information. Information may be shared in these limited circumstances:

• with the public when you publish a public profile, community, competition, result, standing, stream or other public content;
• with authorized community owners, organizers, moderators and match participants when needed to operate registrations, matches, moderation and disputes;
• with infrastructure and service providers that process data for GOLXI, including Vercel for hosting and delivery, Supabase for database, authentication and storage, and an email provider when transactional email is configured;
• when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect safety or rights, investigate fraud or security incidents, or enforce the Terms; and
• as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards required by law.

GOLXI uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication sessions, security and language preference. These are necessary for requested features and are not used by GOLXI for third-party behavioral advertising. Infrastructure providers may set or process security and operational identifiers under their own policies.

We keep information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve competition integrity, resolve disputes, enforce rules, maintain security, comply with law and support legitimate operational needs. Retention periods vary by record type and may include limited backup retention.

You may request account deletion at golxi.com@gmail.com. We may retain limited records when legally required or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, completed competition history, dispute resolution or enforcing rights. When retention is no longer necessary, information is deleted or de-identified where practical.

GOLXI uses measures designed to protect information, including authentication controls, row-level database permissions, restricted storage and signed access links for private evidence. No service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

GOLXI and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers. Laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

You can update many profile fields in account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or an appeal. Email golxi.com@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify your identity before acting and will respond as required by applicable law.

You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection or consumer-protection authority in your jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern.

GOLXI is not directed to children under 13. Users must also meet any higher minimum age that applies in their country. If you believe a child provided information in violation of this requirement, contact golxi.com@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this Policy as the service, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and additional notice will be provided when required by law or when a change materially affects how personal information is handled.
